Andromeda crossed directly over her sister's first remark, and immediately said to the second: "What have they arranged?" she asked, narrowing her eyes still. If Bella gave her wrinkles from this, she would hang her sister's head over her mantle.

Bellatrix grinned. Clearly amused at how much she was getting to her sister. Being vague was incredibly entertaining, especially when you had sisters who got so easily impatient like Cissa and Andy. Really, Bella was just as impatient, but due to some sort of miracle (or rather a mistake by Rabbit), lately Bellatrix had been the one with all the information and was therefore taking her sweet time with telling them.
"Our marriages of course," Bellatrix explained. She gave Andromeda a look suggesting that she was utterly stupid for not having known or at least guessed that by now. "Though you may not act like one, you're a pureblood, you should have expected something like this from now."
"As the daughters of such an important family, our marriages have to be political moves. None of that nonsense about love," she waved her hand, as if the concept of love could be so easily dismissed. In her mind, really it could be. She was lucky though, she was betrothed to one of her absolute best friends who she found extremely attractive. "It's all been arranged since we were little children."

Andy nearly choked. "Arranged MARRIAGES!?!?!?!" she screamed. "What the hell are you talking about, you evil liar. I will NOT follow through with that even if my life depends on it. No. N-O. Do you hear me, wretch? I will not marry anyone unless I choose to!" Andy was in rage and she was going to take it out on anyone who stood in her way: Name: Bella. Andromeda's eyes flashed dangerously as she pulled out a handful of grass and start shredding it without noticing. "Tell me all you know now," she said as her hand twitched to her wand. her temper really got to her sometimes, and she knew she was way over acting, but screw her personality at the moment. Her parents had arranged her future already and she wasn't even 18.

Bella shook her head, smirking as Andy pretty much freaked out. She was going to have to thank Rabbit for telling her about this later. She raised her eyebrow slightly when Andy called her an evil liar and a wretch. She forced herself to momentarily hide her amusement and frowned. "I'm neither an evil liar, nor a wretch, darling, and you will not call me that again if you expect me to tell you what I know."
Ms. Black was aware that she was only making matters worse. That was in her nature though. She could hardly help it. Her hand was resting delicately on top of her wand in case Andromeda got that mad at her. She watched as her sister began to shred the poor grass, momentarily glad that her sister had found a way to occupy herself that didn't involve them getting into an actual fight. Although she had no problem fighting her sister, she would rather just watch Dromeda go utterly mental over it.
"Really, I think dying rather than getting married is overreacting quite a bit," Bellatrix replied. "Besides your future husband would be ever so disappointed... or perhaps not if you are going to have this sort of attitude about the whole thing." Pretending that arranged marriages were a perfectly normal part of life such as sleeping or breathing was really quite entertaining. Ms. Black knew that this was not at all true, but that it would definitely piss off Andy even more.
"That wasn't very polite, Andromeda. Where are your manners?" Bella questioned. "You could at the very least say please," she requested as calmly as possibly. She had to pretend not to be so amused if she wanted to really mess with her older sister. "Or stop pointlessly shouting, you are making a scene. And although I have no problem with people knowing that I'm engaged, it certainly seems that you do, so I'd suggest you calm down, for your own sake."

Andy was silent for a second, breathing evenly; a trick she learned when she was little to stop her from ripping off Bella's head. She closed her eyes, breathed in deeply for 10 seconds and out for 10 seconds. She repeated it until her blood had cooled and her eyes lost their evil spark.
"I know you're not any of those things, you're something much worse, but we won't be needing to get into that we have something major to discuss rather than what exactly your label is," Andy said briskly.
"Actually, from where I'm... sitting... dying sure sound a bloody hell of a lot better than being the perfect picture wife that says 'Yes darling,' or 'yes, my love, I'll slice off my own arm for you." Andy pantomimed. "Now seriously, does that sound like me at all?" she asked, momentarily forgetting she was raged at her sister.
"My manners is where you're innocence has gone," she retorted coldly as she gripped another handful of grass. Why had Bella been born?! She asked herself angrily, constantly ripping and shredding, ripping and shredding, ripping and shredding.....
"And I will make a goddamnned scene when I want to, know matter what you say."

Bellatrix waited while Andromeda calmed down. She could have interrupted and made things like a million times worst but Bellatrix decided that it would be easier to just let the older girl calm down a bit. See, she could be nice, when it was useful for her.
"Now, now, what did I just say? If you want me to tell you, you're going to have to be nice to me," Bella reminded her. She was pushing her luck, she knew. She loved every minute of it. Bellatrix thrived off of situations like this. She supposed that was not necessarily a good thing, but it worked well for her. Ordinary rules did not seem to apply to the middle child of the Black family, so she just made up her own. It worked out quite well, she thought.
Bellatrix laughed. "Oh Andy, our future husbands are not that old fashioned," she explained as if it were quite obvious. She knew that saying the boys they were arranged to marry were not old fashioned was a rather ridiculous statement, but that made it all the better. "I mean, really, you can't possibly expect me to be a trophy wife like that." She shook her head. "Cissa maybe, but no one would expect that of us. All we have to do is marry them and act like good ickle wives at family functions and the like."
"Rabbit took them while both of you were ridiculously smashed?" Bellatrix asked with a dark smirk. She wanted very much to laugh. Of course she knew that Rabastan had not taken Andromeda's manners. That was not possible, obviously. However, Bella liked to make things incredibly awkward.
Bellatrix it seemed, did live to make her older sister's life a living hell. It was not Bella's fault that their parents had arranged their marriages. In fact, Bella was actually doing Andromeda a favor by warning her ahead of time. Bellatrix would probably bring this up soon if Andy didn't stop yelling at her.
"Fine, yell all you want," Bellatrix responded. "Tell the whole bloody school you're betrothed, I don't give a damn. I was merely suggesting you might want to keep your voice down for your own sake. I'm perfectly happy with people knowing about it, you seem to have a problem with it though, so I would think that you'd want to keep this to yourself."

"Under no circumstances will I be nice to you, but I will shut up if you tell me what you know," Andy said coldly. No way i hell was she going to be all sisterly to her sister. She'd be civil, yes. Nice, hell no.
"Are you sure about that? Think of mother and father, still resorting to beheading the house-elves when their too old. Not old fashioned my ass." She sighed. "And I'm not going to be the perfect wife. Hell no. I will give them Hell first."
"Ha Ha," andy said sardonically. "Hilarious. I didn't mean that innocence, you prat," Andy said rolling her eyes. Of course. Leave it to her sister to find everything have a root to a dirty joke.
"And what would make you care for my sake? According to previous dates, events etc., you want to make my life hell, little sis," Andy retorted, seriously wondering why her sister cared.

Bellatrix sighed. "Well, I guess that will have to do as I really don't fancy having you shouting at me incessantly." Bellatrix did not really expect anything more than civility from the older girl at this point. Being nice would be good, but she knew far better than to actually wait for that to happen.
"I said our future husbands are not that old fashioned, dear, and there is a big difference," Bellatrix explained. Really, she was getting rather sick of her sister not understanding the way pureblood society worked. If she'd been a good daughter like Bellatrix and Narcissa, this would all make perfect sense and the only thing she'd ask was who she was going to marry.
"You can give him whatever you want when you're alone." Of course, Bellatrix would manage to make that sound dirty. "All that would be required is that you don't act up around mother and father, really, you've managed it this far, I don't see why you can't keep it up until they die, it can't be that much longer." Leave it to their favorite daughter Bellatrix to so callously discuss their parents.
Bellatrix smiled. "Well then," she said with a light shrug of her shoulders, "I don't think you could loose them in Dark Arts book either, but you're being metaphorical, I know," she added. Bellatrix didn't quite fancy having Andy yell at her over the same thing again. She was even starting to get bored with how long this conversation was dragging out.
Ms. Black sighed loudly. "Fine. You don't believe I'm doing this for you? Then I'm sure you can come up with all sorts of reasons for why I wouldn't want you to make a scene. Maybe I'm trying protect our future husband's reputations, or my own, or my sex life." She rolled her eyes. "Need I go on or are those excuses believable enough?"

"You deserve it," Andy muttered coldly, but continued:
"Whatever." Andy wouldn't understand Pure Blood society, and never wanted to. She stayed as far away from it as possible, and never wanted to be near it. She started acting like Sirius when she realized what alot of her family members were doing in the name of purebloddiness.
"And I will thank you very much. And I don't have to be a favourite daughter to know how to handle Mother and Father," Andy spat angrily. She hated when Bella ordered her about so, thinking she was the older sister.
Andy was silent after her sister was done speaking. She was going to be forced into marriage and she was going to have to. Running away was out of the option unless she did it immediately after she graduated. Oh great. Now what was she going to do?

"I'm doing you a favor you know," Bellatrix pointed out. "I didn't have to warn you about all of this." She really was, in a very twisted sort of way. Of course, it was doubtful that Andromeda would see it as such but that didn't really matter to Bellatrix.
"If you are going to act like you're so much better than the pureblood culture, you ought to at least understand it before you judge it," Bellatrix remarked rather bluntly. Her older sister's self righteous act tended to get on Bella's nerves rather quickly. Discriminating against the purebloods was, in her opinion, more ridiculous than her dislike of mudbloods. Andy was denying who she was as far as Bella was concerned.
"If you understand them so well, then you would have expected this whole arranged marriage thing and would just accept that that is the way things are going to be," Bellatrix responded. At times she felt like she was the oldest daughter, even if she wasn't. Of course, she was brilliant at being a bratty younger sister but after spending the past six years with the boys had brought out the more dominating side of her personality. Telling people what to do was something Bella was quite good at.
"You know, I expected you to get more to the point Andy," Bella informed her sister. "As a Ravenclaw aren't you supposed to be the intelligent and calm one? I mean, of course I expected you to freak out but really, this is a bit excessive. 'Cissa handled it far better. She just asked to who and accepted it."

“Yeah yeah, you and your favors,” Andy said rolling her eyes. “Although, I will admit this useful knowledge, I do not thank you for it because it made my life horrible,” she said negatively.
“I’m not going to understand it,” Andy said stubbornly. “I never liked it, so I never wanted to get into it,” she admitted, not really caring how annoyed it would make her sister if she explained all this. “The whole lot of them annoyed me so much; I didn’t want to be like them. And talking to you right now made my decision the right one. I never want to be like you, Bella. You and your arrogant, bitchy, self-centered ways made me realize how much it’s not me at all.”
“Just ‘cause I’m a Ravenclaw does not mean I have to be a stereotype, B. Haven’t you learn I go my own way and never stand with a crowd? Unlike you, with your perfect sticking-to-the-rules nature, that’s never what I would do. I’m my own person and quite proud of it.” Andromeda felt better after saying that and then rolled her eyes and dropped the grass she was still in mid shred. All around her were pieces of broken grass. “But if it would make you fell better: Who am I destined to marry?” she asked, closing her eyes and waiting for the worst. It was obviously going to be a Seventh Year Slytherin who was from a prominent family. Most likely the normal names: Malfoy, Lestrange, Crabbe, Goyle, Gaunt, Grisby, etc.

"Well, it was find out from me or from mother and father when you graduated or whenever it was that they decided to tell us," Bella pointed out. "This way, you freak out at me rather than them and don't get in trouble or embarrass the family." Of course, Bella was not solely concerned with her sister getting in trouble. That would be far too caring for Bellatrix Black. No, really she was more concerned about the family reputation. If it meant getting the older sister she'd admired as a child back too, well, that would just be an added bonus.
Bellatrix shook her head and sighed impatiently. "You don't have to act like me," she explained impatiently. "Narcissa and I are quite different and we're both part of the pureblood culture. I mean hell, the only person who is really like me is Rabbit. If you cared at all, you'd have noticed that." She was trying to guilt her sister into at least considering the marriage and such. She doubted it would ever work but assumed that it was worth a shot.
"But its perfectly acceptable for you to stereotype Slytherins and purebloods?" Bella questioned with a confident smirk. She was not the type of person one would want to get into an argument with. However, after growing up with Bella, Andy certainly must have known that by now.
"Rodolphus Lestrange," Bellatrix told her older sister calmly. "I'm betrothed to Rabbit, which I suppose will make us both sisters and sisters-in-law," Bella mused, a dark smirk on her lips. Ah, the complicated twists on pureblood family trees. It was a bit creepy actually, but Bellatrix was not bothered by it. "And Cissa is going to marry Lucius Malfoy. Although you may disagree, I think mother and father made fairly good choices, particularly as they agreed to this... twelve years ago. As the person who knows everyone involved best, I'd say we're all fairly well matched."

“I don’t bloody care if I embarrass the family,” Andy spat. She rolled her eyes. How long will it take for you to realized I don’t care?” Andy asked. She sighed at how thick her sister could be sometimes. “I mean, you’ve known me for sixteen years and you can’t even tell how much I don’t care?” Andy asked sardonically. “No I don’t care, so I never really noticed. Nor do I want to,” Andy replied evenly, brushing away her hair with her index finger. “It doesn’t bother me at all if you are like ‘Rabbit’ or Cissy. And Narcissa is only different because she’s confused on who she wants to follow. You or me.” Andy nearly fainted. Was it her, or was the air from outside all being sucked out from around her. “Rodolphus Lestrange?!” she repeated; she tried to sound as even as possibly, but her voice was pitchy and her eyes widened. That was the brother of Bella’s boy-toy. The one Bella snogged in dark halls and corridors and corners who was a perv way beyond belief. He was to be her husband?!. No. This couldn’t be happening. The world was spinning, Andy was feeling dizzy. This was too much information that she could hold at this time. It was a dream, she told herself. A cruel, sick dream. Close your eyes and when you open them you’ll find yourself in your dorm – Andy closed her eyes and opened them. Seeing Bella. Again.

"You may not, but I do, and that is why I have taken it upon myself to constantly remind you that you should too," Bellatrix replied. She always got annoyed when Andy accused her somehow of being stupid. She was not stupid, she just had a very different view of the world.
"Well then, for the exact same reason, I do not care if you are a stereotypical Ravenclaw or not so there's no point in correcting me," Bella argued. Sometimes she really wished she did not have an older sister. Quite frankly it was a miracle Bella had not tried to kill the girl yet. "She's going to stick with the family and you know it, Andromeda. Cissy cares way too much about the bloodline and reputation to ever go against mother, father, and I." Bellatrix did not seem to notice the fact that she'd just put herself as equally influential and in control with her parents. In all honesty though, it was pretty much true.
Bellatrix smirked when she watched Andromeda's reaction. "Yes, Rodolphus Lestrange," she repeated. "And honestly, you're lucky you're the oldest. You'd absolutely hate Rabbit and Lucius well, he and Cissa will be perfect for each other. Rod's not as bad as you think. If you gave him a chance, I think the two of you would really get along."
Bella could tell that Andromeda was trying very hard not to absolutely freak out. Honestly, she wanted to laugh but she refrained from doing so. She would wait until it completely sunk in for Andy that she was betrothed to one of Bellatrix' best friends who on occasion, she had been quite a bit more than friends with. She would wait awhile before informing Andromeda about anything like that. She wanted her sister to be fully aware of what she was saying in order to really freak her out.

“I don’t need to be reminded, because it would be simply a waste of your breath. I’ve heard you say it too much,” Andy said through gritted teeth. In all honesty, she was ready to rip out every single one of Bella’s deep conditioned, shiny hair and through it in the lake for the giant squid.
“Yeah yeah,” Andy rolled her eyes. “And how would you know that? I mean really, you don’t even have private conversations,” she scoffed.
“Yeah, like I’d give him a chance. I don’t give any Slytherins that associate with you a chance. Sorry. Not in my nature, and won’t ever be.”
